NaPoWriMo Day 6 – Forever The Girl Who (List Poem)
Forever the girl who…
wishes her mind would be more chemically flexible to handle all that hurt. is stuck somewhere in 2016, the last known place of her wholeness. redeems by repeating the same mistake in different ways. turns her-kinda people into sanctuaries. bleeds poems because she doesn’t want therapy. wishes her heart could open more rooms to lodge pain. thinks that the moon’s cheeks turn pink what with all that staring and admiring. pours milk inside the coffee-powder jar instead of the glass. trades her soul for longing and more longing. abandons challenges. dreams, dreams, dreams…

This is the poem I posted on Instagram too. So, no two poems today. The prompt was by @hazel.poetry on Instagram.
