NaPoWriMo Day 25 – A Tweet Poem in Which I Diss Myself

NaPoWriMo Day 25 – A Tweet Poem in Which I Diss Myself

What if I went into child’s pose and just stayed there…until the end of the year?
You see, I’ll never be a meal prep girl.
I much prefer the agony and the ecstasy of scrounging around for sustenance like a dog.
This morning, the pile of laundry on my floor garnered 1567 views but no engagements.
In addition to laziness, I have other amusements too. Wanna hear them?
I have this feminine urge to open a bookstore that is also a coffee shop and bakery and a flower shop.
I’ve been on my last straw for like 300 straws now.
I have told people to take the bouquet off my coffin at my funeral and throw it into the crowd to see who is next.
I relate to the moon because I look amazing in person and terrible in pictures.
When someone asks me, ‘Can you send a writing sample?’
I tell them, ‘No, but I can send you multiple screenshots of me killing it in the group chat.’
And also, my best writing advice is to have a secret project that no one knows about and that you also never work on.
Just like my disarrayed mind, this cento poem started somewhere, is going somewhere else, and would end up in a different place.
But, can I please just sit on the edge of a crescent moon like once in my life?
Thanks for reading.
