NaPoWriMo Day 13 – Miscalculations (Micro Poem)
Earth-shattering regret
journeys through my ribs,
searching for magnets
in my bone marrow.
Once I said to someone
that I was made of iron.
I wish I could tell them
that now I am a sponge,
absorbing this
inexplicable longing.
I am now a hot mess
dripping miscalculations.
